My Cleansing recipes

Part of loving your body is taking the time to give it the nutrients it needs. Every so often, I like to do a cleanse and wipe out all the toxins (like Mcdonalds and sugar) that I’ve been feeding my body. I feel completely rejuvenated afterwards and I suddenly feel as if I have found the energy of my 12 year old self again.
This week Ive decided to go completely vegan and eat only fruits and veg. I’ve done a lot of research and along the way I’ve created some yummy smoothies and salads that I really want to share with you guys.
If you decide to go on a cleanse as well, leave a comment and we can be cleanse buddies!!! ?❤️
The first smoothie recipe I want to share with you guys, is my all-time favorite. I’m going to name it right now … It’s called, “The Superhero Smoothie“… because it has a ton of super healthy foods…and I like superheros ? haha.
This smoothie has the following in it:
  1. Kale
  2. Spinach
  3. Raspberries
  4. Banana
  5. Strawberries
  6. Mango
  7. Blueberries
  8. Carrots
  9. water
I try to buy everything organic, but it can be hard to find frozen organic fruits, especially mango; so it’s ok to have one or two things that aren’t organic.
In the last few months, I have become the ‘Salad Queen’. I swear I didn’t make that name up… my mom can take all the credit for that one. Thanks Momsicle!
She decided to call me this because she usually calls me “The Queen”, only now I make salads all the time. So it’s quite logical really.
Creating different salad recipes and experimenting, has become one of my favorite past times. The salad that I eat most often has been dubbed the title, “The Queens Greens”.
It has the following ingredients:
  1. Kale
  2. Spinach
  3. Pumpkin seeds
  4. Chopped Pear
  5. Blueberries
  6. Carrots
  7. and when I feel like it I throw in some Chicken (grain fed/organic)
  8. Olive Oil for dressing

I sometimes throw in mango, strawberries, avocados or almonds, depending on my mood. I try to be as natural as possible, but you can definitely add some sea salt, pepper or garlic seasoning for a little more flavor.
Finally I want to share with you, my homemade chicken noodle soup. I call this “My Wellness soup”.
This soup is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. It’s magical properties can cure any cold in an instant, because it fights off bacteria with its mighty noodle kick (my inner magic-believing child wishes).
Ingredients:
  1. Rice Noodles
  2. Kale
  3. Spinach
  4. Organic Chicken broth
  5. Carrots
  6. Pinch of Sea Salt.
It takes me less than 20 mins to make this and when I do, it truly warms my soul.
These are just a few of the recipes I make when I do a cleanse. For snacks, I usually stick to fruits and veg, but almonds or natural popcorn is ok to. As a side note, I put olive oil and sea salt on my popcorn and it makes it taste heavenly.
If you want me to post more cleansing recipes or if you have any organic recipes that you would like to share, leave a comment and let me know!
I hope you all enjoyed this blog and as always, I’m sending you so much love.
